Fighting Hunger, One Move at a Time
More than 42 million Americans face hunger every day, including 13.1 million children, 5.3 million senior citizens, and 1 in 4 U.S. veterans. Allied is proud to partner with Move For Hunger, a nonprofit organization mobilizing the relocation industry, in the fight against hunger and food insecurity. As a partner, Allied’s network of agents is bringing much-needed support to local food banks across the country.
Through our partnership with Move For Hunger, donating food has never been simpler. During your move, ask your move consultant for a Move For Hunger box where you can set aside any unwanted and unopened food items. Your Allied crew will collect your donations and ensure they are donated to a local food pantry.
Since 2013, Allied has collectively donated over 4.3 million meals to food banks across the nation and this year, our agents are going the extra mile to help support our communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. From porch food drives to local contests, our agents are committed to fighting hunger. Tippet-Richardson, Allied agent-based in Canada, is hosting a fundraiser throughout the month of December to further support Move For Hunger in their hunger relief and rescue goals.
Allied is proud to partner with Move For Hunger and is dedicated to doing our part to fight back against food insecurity. By helping our customers find an easy alternative to throwing away nonperishable food items, we hope to contribute to a system that not only lessens food waste but helps to feed our communities.

Moving Toward a Cure
Every two minutes, a woman in the US is diagnosed with breast cancer and according to the American Cancer Society, an estimated 281,550 women in the US will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. This disease not only affects the communities we serve but also our network of agents, that’s why we’re proud to partner with Susan G. Komen, the world’s largest cancer organization, in the battle against breast cancer.
We began our life-saving partnership earlier this year with a $40,000 donation and have a goal to raise $35,000 more by March 31, 2022. By mobilizing our national network, we have raised over $56,000 to provide life-saving support to survivors and those fighting breast cancer, as well as help fund Komen’s breakthrough research.
Berger Moving & Storage, agent for Allied, has gone above and beyond and committed to match all Allied donations to Susan G. Komen up to $35,000, providing twice the funding and, more importantly, hope.

Simplified Donation Solutions to Help Transform Lives
Allied is a proud partner of The Salvation Army, an international charitable organization dedicated to Doing the Most Good. Our exclusive partnership with The Salvation Army began in 2015 and over the course of those 6 years, we have been able to schedule over 7,700 additional donation pickups.
Decluttering is an essential step in the moving process. Our partnership with The Salvation Army makes donating goods easy when you move with Allied. Through a quick and easy scheduling process, The Salvation Army will pick up items for donation, free of charge, and deliver them to a local Salvation Army location for resale. All proceeds directly fund The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center to help repair the lives of those struggling with substance abuse.
